Fruit from a dozen different plates — bananas, peaches, tomatoes, cherries, citrus — layered behind the name in knockout type, six lines deep, across the chest. The fruit was painted between 1886 and 1942 by government artists recording what was being grown, one plate at a time. Nobody painted the people who picked it. The blank is mineral-washed, so the ground reads uneven and no two come off the press the same. Cut oversized with a dropped shoulder — it hangs, it doesn't cling. Five colourways, and the off-white type sits differently on each: on blackish green, black, light gray and pink it holds against the ground; on light apricot it reads where it crosses the fruit and softens where it doesn't.

  • Fabric — 100% cotton, 275 gsm (8.1 oz), mineral wash, moderate hand
  • Fit — Oversized, boxy, dropped shoulder. Size down for a standard fit.
  • Print — Printed to order, direct-to-film
  • Care — Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. No bleach, tumble dry low. If you iron it, keep the iron off the print. Don't dry clean.
