On The Job started with the people who keep this city moving — and the two minutes they spend inside a corner store with the engine still running.

Oakland is a city of people on the move and on the clock, and almost nothing made for that life is drawn by anyone living it. So we started drawing. Mail trucks, mailboxes, the graffiti-marked working vehicles that run these streets, weathered by everybody who has touched them. Every design gets logged as a numbered run.

HOW WE MAKE THINGS

We are small and we are new, so everything is printed to order. Your piece is made after you buy it. That means it takes a little longer to reach you, usually 8 to 21 days from order to doorstep, and it means we are not sitting on boxes of unsold inventory in a garage. Garments are cotton and cotton-blend fleece around 10oz. The exact composition is listed on every product page, because you should know what you are buying.

WHAT WE WILL ALWAYS DO

If something arrives damaged, misprinted, or wrong, we replace it or refund you and you do not ship anything back. If the fit is off, we will help you exchange it. Read the full policy before you order.
